liblog-dispatch-dir-perl software package provides module to log messages to separate files in a directory, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblog-dispatch-dir-perl
liblog-dispatch-dir-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblog-dispatch-dir-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblog-dispatch-dir-perl *
You will get with liblog-dispatch-dir-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
